Fashion Show Mall is, in our opinion, the best shopping mall in the Las Vegas valley. It is very popular with locals and tourists. Plus you don't have to drive on the Strip to get there (access is easy from the Spring Mountain Road East exit off the I-15 or you can walk or take a short cab ride if you are staying on the Strip). Best to go on weekdays and evenings, if possible (but note that Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue usually close earlier than the rest of the mall). There is a wide selection of great quality merchandise, especially clothing and footwear but also home furnishings and electronics. Many excellent brand-name stores are there, click here for a complete list, including anchor stores Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Macy's and Dillards. Prices range considerably, so there should be something for everyone shopping for new clothes. There's even a food court where you can enjoy a reasonably priced meal or snack, a rare find on the Strip (and leaves you with more to spend on gaming and shoes). On weekends there usually are live runway fashion shows featuring apparel available at the mall. There is also a walkway/bridge that conveniently goes over Las Vegas Blvd. and connects to the Wynn Esplanade.

The Forum Shops has the greatest array of shops in Vegas. It is home to a list of retailers that cannot be matched at any mall in America. From Gucci to Stuart Weitzman and Louis Vuitton you’re sure to find it here. There is even a two-tiered exotic cars and motorcycle retailer with 34,000 square feet of showroom space. They carry brands including Porsche, Rolls Royce and Aston Martin. There are hundreds of stores, restaurants and attractions to keep you busy for an entire afternoon. You can watch the statues talk at the Atlantis fountain show or just people-watch. The Forum Shops houses a number of restaurants including Il Mulino New York, Sushi Roku, Planet Hollywood and the famous Cheesecake Factory. Recently added was a 175,000-square-foot, three-level addition with an incredible spiral escalator -- one of only two in the United States. The Forum Shops isn't really just a shopping mall; it is a shopping experience complete with attractions and dining. If you're going, plan on spending the better part of the day here as you take in one of America's finest shopping experiences. For those driving, park in the ramp and walk straight across the road way to what looks like employee entrances. They are not, go in entrance #11. There you'll find restrooms, vending machines and an entrance that brings you in next to the Cheescake Factory.

The Grand Canal Shoppes are located in the Venetian. At the center of the Shoppes is St. Mark's Square and the Venetian's most popular attraction, the Gondola Ride. Designed to emulate the Venetian gondolas, this ride travels a half-mile path through the center of the mall. You can ride inside or outside of the Shoppes and enjoy the sites that have made this one of the more romantic settings on the Strip.
The Grand Canal Shoppes are spacious and home to the many Streetmosphere entertainers that take you back to a simpler time. Whether you're looking for a stroll in an entertainment-oriented setting, or trying to find a unique upscale memento of your trip, this is the place to be. One look at the painted fresco overhead and you'll know that the Grand Canal Shoppes provides a unique opulance other shopping centers don't have. Be it Venetian-logo merchandise, treasured glass-blown souvenirs, or a Faberge egg you're sure to find it here. As you pass through the Shoppes on your way to the south end, you'll come to the Great Hall and then a moving sidewalk that will whisk you on your way to another popular attraction: Madame Tussauds wax museum. Check out our coupon page for discounts to this attraction. With a food court and a variety of upscale dining, you can spend a good part of your day here.

Las Vegas Outlet Center is for the bargain hunter. There are a variety of stores here but shoes and home seem to be the theme. Of note is the Corning-Revere store with its vast selection of inexpensive Pyrex. Adidas, Nike, and Reebok are also located here so you should have no trouble negotiating the long walk in a comfortable pair of shoes. The mall layout is simple to understand. It is shaped on the interior like a capital “E” with the legs of the “E” facing the Las Vegas Strip. There is also an annex outside the mall on the south side that houses Off 5th, the Saks Fifth Avenue outlet. There is a food court at both ends of the mall so finding something to eat is easy. Towards the south end of the mall there is a carousel that offers an inviting diversion for the kids.
